Populations & Clinical Interests
Grace aims to support her clients as they navigate the emotional, mental, spiritual, physical, and social ups and downs that their life stories involve. She also incorporates the ways that clients' support networks, broader communities, and larger systems that they operate within affect their lives. Her mindset in approaching work with clients is one of curiosity. Grace strives to be a supportive guide for clients as they wade into the unpredictable waters of their healing journey. She firmly believes that everyone has their own path to wellbeing, which is why she incorporates a wide variety of tools into sessions, including but not limited to; cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, strength based and solution focused therapies, art therapy, adventure and nature based therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and integrative approaches. Grace helps clients be empowered to own and author their life narrative.
Approach & Therapeutic Interventions
Experience in weekly group therapy with clients facing emotional stressors, psychological blockages, and other difficulties through a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Group, an Artist’s Way Group, and a Food Freedom Group. In addition to general mental health and life transitions, Grace has experience and passion for working with individuals with trauma, chronic pain and chronic health issues, anxiety, depression, LGBTQA+ issues, interpersonal/relationship concerns, obsessive compulsive disorders, and mood disorders.
