Jacob Kellersohn
“The identity of "coach" is one that I hold dearly and one that I think can be applied to a lot of aspects of my life. I have been coaching high school and collegiate track for several years now and the things I have learned from these experiences translate directly into my practice. Being a trusted guide is important to me whether its on a field, in a classroom, or anywhere else.”

Clinical interests: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, attention deficit disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and social anxiety.
The main focus within my practice are openness, growth, learning, and empathy. I think the more open and understanding we are with each other, the more we can learn and grow together.
The frameworks that I am interested in exploring and using in my own practice are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT, Polyvagal Theory, Athletic and Performance Counseling, and Positive Psychology.
Athletes and performers of any kind, specifically because I see the struggles that they face and I think it is so important to work with this population — to help them be the best versions of themselves on and off the field, stage, etc. And, this extends to non-athletes/performers as well, any individuals who are on the path to self improvement are always welcome!
